It combines the best features from our alpine and skimo packs for a singular result that makes the Summit 30 a technical marvel for ski mountaineering. 100D triple ripstop nylon fabric is strong and lightweight. The dedicated fast access pocket for probe and shovel along with the side entry crampon pocket that can be accessed without removing the pack and the Full BackDoor opening characterize the skimo features of the Summit 30. The strong and secure A-Frame ski carrying straps, dual technical ice axe carriers, external helmet carrying system, roll top lid and gear loop on the hip belt characterize the alpine features. Combined into a single pack, the Summit 30 is a ski mountaineering pack that is purpose built for ski mountaineering in technical terrain.
