The Rapid is a tried and true technical ski touring pack with all the features that make our Rapid Racing pack a leader in the race category, but built with materials and features that make it more compatible for general ski touring. Still lightweight at 590 grams with ergonomics that make it fit close to the body for all day comfort. Features include the X-Press ski carrying system that allows skis to be attached and removed without removing the pack, the side entry crampon pocket that can be accessed without removing the pack and uses Velcro and magnets for a secure closure, the innovative ice axe holder that allows the axe to be removed without removing the pack, the dedicated internal compartment for the probe and shovel handle and dedicated clips for the shovel blade, and external hip pockets and bottle holder on the shoulder strap to allow access to essentials without removing the pack.
