La Sportiva Lumina 200 Down Jkt W - Women's Down Jacket for Alpine Climbing and High Altitude

La Sportiva Lumina 200 Down Jkt M is the ultralight men's down jacket that rewrites the rules on warmth and weight. It weighs just 250 g, of which 125 g is Italian down with a fill power of 1000 cuin - the result is arguably the best warmth-to-weight ratio in its category for the 2025/2026 season. Designed for alpinists, ice climbers and mountain runners looking for maximum insulation in minimum volume.

The Lumina 200 packs down to the size of a coffee cup - fitting into a backpack pocket, a running vest pocket or even the pocket of a lighter shell. As a packable down jacket for alpine climbing, it is the jacket you always take because it never weighs you down.

Lumina 200 or a heavier down jacket - which should I choose?

The Lumina 200 is a specialised down jacket for alpinists and climbers where every gram counts. If your priority is to cut weight and minimise pack volume, this down jacket is an excellent choice - but it is not suitable for everyday use or where contact with bushes and walls is likely. For more everyday use in the city, choose a heavier and more durable model.

La Sportiva Lumina 200 Down Jkt M is the men's down jacket for alpinists, ice climbers, ski tourers and mountain runners for whom warmth, weight and packability are the deciding factors - from belaying on ice routes to bivouacking at high altitude.
